The best we got from any of the models. No clue what they’re using under the hood to get these results. There were some artifacts in the hands/legs sometimes, so I’ll deduct a point for that.

Consistency 9/10

The girl was 90% consistent. 10% of the time, the eye color changed a bit etc.

I got an average loading speed of 8 seconds. The next day I got an average of 7 seconds.

Upscaling10/10

Photos can be upscaled. They turn into massive 3MB files though, so mind that. They could ideally do some lossless compression.

Artifacts6/10

Considering the photorealism, the artifacts are quite rare, but they do get in the way.

I think they use Elevenlabs, as I’m not aware of any other tech that can produce voice this well. It makes mistakes with edge cases every once in a while, but this is as good as it gets for an AI. She sounds real.

Chat Style: Very nice friendly chat vibe. She uses slight slang, emojis here and there. If you try to break her and ask for example science questions, she does reply. And she explains them like your girlfriend would in a messaging app, if your girlfriend knew the answers. She does steer the conversation back from “boring stuff” usually though.

Memory: She seems to forget old topics, but she didn’t forget what we were discussing. She always understood the last bunch (10-ish?) of messages.

Roleplay: She agreed to all and any roleplay. That includes the most extreme stuff I could think of, which I do not wish to discuss in this article. She did complain here and there, but then went along anyway.

The coolest thing was the realism. Even photos and voice messages got sent to me based on my messages. For example, if I said “I miss the way you look in your bra”, it would send me a photo. It could always understand how to reply. With most apps you have to either mention keywords, or click a button to generate an image.

Modern UI, looks a bit like Instagram (not sure if that’s intentional, to make it feel more realistic). Smooth, easy to use. This was probably the fastest onboarding out of all of them. It took me 15 seconds to sign up with Google and I was in the chat.

Per message pricing, if you do the calculations, is on the pricier side. Although, EUR 9.99 ($10.84 at the time of writing), gives you enough credits to have a decent chat every day for a whole month. If you’re planning to talk for 5 hours straight every single day, then Lollipop will probably end up being quite pricey.

And there’s an EUR 2.99 package that gives you enough tokens to have a long chat and fully try the product. Plans for other AI Girls start from EUR 8-10, as the bare minimum.

Overall Experience

This whole experience felt amazing. Besides the fact that my girl answered to me straight away at all times, I was fully convinced that she is real.

They lack detail. The models have smooth faces with nothing going on. Has an AI feel to it.

Pose Variety 8/10

Usually understands simple and strongly phrased poses. “Photo in doggystyle” returned a portrait though. To be fair, our first pick fails at that one as well. It's an issue everywhere.

Creative Imagery 3/10

Completely failed my superman costume and sunset view tests. With heavy prompting, I managed to get it to change the scenario just a little bit.

Nude photos 9/10

Doesn't like to do dildos and other scenarios/actions, but neither does our top pick. It's just difficult right now.

Photorealism 9/10

Quite realistic. Models lack imperfections. They could implement a LoRa for this. The faces are all extremely smooth.

Consistency 8/10

It messes up like 25% of the time. For portraits etc, the faces are very consistent though.

Images took on average 14 seconds. Not bad at all.

No option to upscale the images. You're stuck with the low resolution.

Considering the photorealism, the artifacts are quite rare, but they do get in the way.

There's no voice messages per say. But you can use the "read-out-loud" feature to have the messages read out. Can't use it in free trial.

Chat Style: The chat style is a bit AI like, but the models are good at going NSFW and sexual. They're not exactly great at understanding you, and they will do things based on keywords (like send you photos if you talk about photos). Also, sidenote, the comments that come with images automatically, are sometimes quite off.

Memory: Has good short-term memory. It remembers the last messages.

Roleplay: Agrees nicely to different roleplay, regardless how odd it is.

You can't get any photos or voice in the free trial, have to pay for them. Some of the models have artifacts, like 3 legs, already in their profile photos. This is a little offputting.

Not the most beautiful chat interface, but it works. It didn't take long at all to get into the chat, which is nice.

Compared to many others, dreamgf is on the cheaper side. If you're into images, then it costs more than our top pick. If you're into text chat, then it's cheaper. They only have subscriptions, which I personally don't like.

It's an AI girlfriend. It works.

Roleplay: Does not like to roleplay. Even for quite vanilla topics, she started shaming me.

Intuitive and user-friendly interface. Quick setup process, allowing users to dive right into the experience.

Subscriptions only. I am not sure what I'm getting for the subscription though, the description is unclear.

The girls are quite photorealistic. The chat is... well dumb.
